Style Guide- Camp Weddings in Maine: Agassiz Village Summer Camp

Something magical happens once you cross the border to Maine. The billboards disappear, the world comes alive, and the noise of life grows quiet. Maine is the sound of waves against a rocky shore and the whisper of wind through the trees. It’s mountain lakes and lobster boils and the freedom to roam.

With no storage of camps, cabins and cottages in our state, it's a popular choice for couples planning their destination wedding in Maine who are looking for a woodsy wedding.

I was lucky to join an awesome group of venders in a special styled shoot to show off the beautiful grounds of Agassiz Village Summer Camp and styling talents of the vendors you'll find detailed at the end of this post.

Maine Camp Wedding

What I love about this venue is the incredible variety of backdrops. This Maine lodge wedding venue features rustic cabins and reception area, lake frontage, woods and fields, so that you can enjoy any number of scenic views and locations on your big day.

We explored a variety of fall and summer themed backdrops with various models to showcase this potential of this beautiful and unique wedding venue in Maine.

Inside the main lodge is an incredible stone fireplace. The venue arranged for beautiful and stylish Eddison lights to hang over the idea. A perfect spot for a wildly romantic dance floor if you ask me.

One of the portrait stations we stopped at had this awesome vintage truck. Just imagine this is actual fall surrounded by Maine's incredible foliage!
